That's awesome thanks for letting me know. But I am wondering how you came to this conclusion. If its Dual Voice coil 4 ohm sub. And the amp is 2 ohm stable @300 watts. How do you know to buy a 4 ohm sub?

Since its dual voice coil connected in parallel? Does that make the 4 ohms become 2 ohm?

(4ohm x 4ohm) divide by (4ohm + 4ohm) = 2ohms? Is this how you came to decide on a 4ohm Dual voice coil sub?

Ok here's how it works you have two 4 ohm loads u can run them in series "take the resistance of your load "4" and multiply it by the number of loads which is two to get your final load of 8ohm".
Parallel "take the resistance of your loads "4" and divide by the number of loads "2" to get your final 2 ohm load... You can do the same with duel 2,4,1 there all the same math.

okay after all that. I think i've decided which amp to go with. Since neither alpine amps will work with my setup.

The 4/3/2 Alpine Amp will only do Bridged 4 ohms, my speakers are 2ohms.
The dual alpine amps wont work because they only accept speaker level inputs and that means i would have to buy a high-low converter to get some sort of subwoofer input for the mono amp. But then it wont accept an RCA input from a high-low converter. So thats a no.

So i finally found this amp

Kicker 10ZX700.5
5-channel car amplifer
70 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms + 210 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms
85 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms + 420 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms
165 watts RMS x 2 bridged at 4 ohms + 420 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms

This amp will accept high-level speaker inputs, so you buy a Speaker wire- RCA adapter to input the front and rear channels, and has a built in whatever the hell it is, and will output to my added subwoofer. So this eliminates the need for a high to low signal processor, saved about 100 bucks.

So it will run my 4 door speakers 4x85 watts @2ohms
And still planning which subwoofer to buy, something with these specs
10" between DVC(4ohms x4ohms) 300-400 watts , shallow mounting (5-1/4" or less from supercrewsound)

But either way this amp worked out perfectly, I called kicker just to make sure.

So anyone else out there looking for the same type of setup, I hope you can find some help in reading all of this.

Thanks to everyone for the help with the ohms. hahaha effin ohms.

Once all my stuff arrives I will be sure to post a thing about my components used in my low-budget and better than stock setup.

Total cost in the end will probably be
4x Infinity Speakers $187 eBay
Kicker 10ZX700.5 Amplifier $360 eBay
Possibly Kicker 10CVR104 Subwoofer $160 eBay (If the mounting depth will work)
(2x) Speaker x RCA Input Adapter $30 crutchfield
=$737 Total

Plus amp wiring kit and all that crap.

yeah sorry after looking into it the PDX-5 wont work because speakers are 2ohms and the amp is 4ohm stable.

PDX-5
RMS Power Ratings
Per channel into 4 Ohms: (@ 14.4V Ƈ%THD+N, 20Hz - 20kHz @ 4I? for 4ch.) 75W x 4
Per channel into 2 Ohms: (@ 14.4V Ƈ%THD+N, 20Hz - 200Hz @ 2I? for Mono ch.) 300W x 1

So i had to find something with 75-100W x 4 @2ohms for the speakers
and then didnt matter for the sub because i havent purchased it yet.

I will take your advice about the farting subwoofer though lol. I thought maybe it was a good sub. They made a good amp so i dunno.

Maybe I'll go with my original choice of a 10" Alpine SWS-1043D 300W Sub

Look on more sites than one man. Research it. Look it up google pdx5 at 2ohms... All pdx amps are two ohm stable on all channels
