I always recommend people buying one instead of making it themselves, because most of the time the box is more important the the actual subs when it comes to sound, but good luck!

Try aero ports. The air moves more smoothly out of the box unlike the square ports. Plus they are way easier to tune. What subs you running?

I remember in high school they were showing us how to determine the necessary box dimensions by getting numbers from the back of the speakers. It was algebra and I didnt pay much attention. But you just cant make a box and call it a day. Needs to be done right.

If you look in the manuals for the sub it tells you what the airspace is that is needed for each chamber of the enclosure for each enclosure type (sealed/ported/bandpass) if you take your WxHxL and divide it by 1728 that will give you the actual airspace of the box/chamber.

Anyone can build a sub box, you just have to make sure your air space is correct. Your sound is going to be determined by it.

For those that are telling people to go have one built by someone else, STOP!!! People dont want to pay an arm and a leg to get something built they can do themselves for WAY less. Its basic math and measurement to build this.
