Big 3 Upgrade?
Anyone attempt a big 3 upgrade on a 2013+ F150?
I'm just looking down at the alternator and it looks like a bitch to get to. And there are so many wires coming off the positive post going every which way. Currently I do not seem to have any electrical issues, so not even sure I need it. But I have the kit at home and am contemplating trying to install.
Maybe it will level out the power a bit? Question is, will it even be noticeable?
If anyone has successfully done this, I'd love to hear how it went.
I think my alternator is a 220 amp, which is pretty big. And I have little if any headlight dimming, and just no problems so far in general, and that's with 1600 watt system. I do have the kit in hand, but am considering sending it back. IDK yet.
