I wonder if upgrading the primary positive feeder from 4 Ga to 1 Ga is enough?

That's an awesome deal on the amp I'd recommend you buy it too. I can't touch open box prices for brand new items. I'd rather you get a good deal and keep on with your build. Love the photos keep them coming.
Papermaker, there are the photos. It's not complete as of yet, it's a work in progress. I am going to finish most of it in three weeks. I am going to out of pocket the next two weekends. I got my amp today (sorry Bruce, got a hell of deal on the amp from Sonic, it was an open box for 512 shipped!!).

What do you think about the wire routing? Do you use the same hole?

The routing looks good to me. I don't recall which hole I used but think it was closer to the bottom of the battery tray. I could be mistaking it for another vehicle though. Far too many truck/car installs to remember them all.

True very true. I also need to talk about some sound deading for the rear and what I should use. I saw that dhmcfadin used two things in the back of his truck. I know one was sound deading, what was the other product? I would like to cut some of the rear noise out of the truck.
