I haven't ran new alt power or block to frame ground. The alt is buried in there and it's going to require some disassembly. As far as the block to frame ground, I'll work that in there when I'm in there.

I wonder if upgrading the primary positive feeder from 4 Ga to 1 Ga is enough?

I will still do the alt and engine ground at some point but right now, I have hardly any voltage drop. I'm talking half a volt.

I don't think you can ask for anything better, you will still have voltage drop just due to external heat to the wire or resistance.

That's an awesome deal on the amp I'd recommend you buy it too. I can't touch open box prices for brand new items. I'd rather you get a good deal and keep on with your build. Love the photos keep them coming.

I got my amp today (sorry Bruce, got a hell of deal on the amp from Sonic, it was an open box for 512 shipped!!).

Thanks,

What do you think about the wire routing? Do you use the same hole?

The routing looks good to me. I don't recall which hole I used but think it was closer to the bottom of the battery tray. I could be mistaking it for another vehicle though. Far too many truck/car installs to remember them all.

True very true. I also need to talk about some sound deading for the rear and what I should use. I saw that dhmcfadin used two things in the back of his truck. I know one was sound deading, what was the other product? I would like to cut some of the rear noise out of the truck.
