Does it matter that they are Dual Voice Coil?
I think i'm going to go with 1 amp...but what power? I burnt up a 3000W Class D Monoblock Power Acoustik already. The subs only peak at 1500 each so I thought 3000 would have been good, i'm thinking 4000W now?

I say this from experience because i wired up my system years ago... Had a hifonics zeus amp... $799 bucks... Wired it wrong and played the **** out of it and it caught on fire.. It was wired down to a .5 load and it was only 1ohm stable..
Do it right.. Use a diagram.. The one i have covers component speakers as well..
Stay at the 1500 watt and you'll be fine.. Class D mono

I did some more looking and I can get the subs down to 1ohm stable wired together and the Kicker ZX1500.1 runs 1500RMS at 1ohm...so I think that's what I'm gonna get.
Sound right?
