Aux hookup

If you install an aftermarket HU, to retain your factory sub you'll need to get a harness kit (Metra 70-5221).
The connector part goes into the vehicle matching harness, the two RCA connectors (in the picture below) will plug into your HU preamp or Sub outs, and the remaining two wires are for the shield and the remote turn on, you can probably ignore the shield wire, use the diagram below for the remote wire. The stripped ends will connect to the aftermarket "remote on" wire (most likely will be blue also)
I also included a youtube link of this guy going into extensive details on how to hookup the harnesses. Start watching at marker 11:30
There's a common popping sound when installing an aftermarket HU to a factory sub. The sub only requires a 5V current to turn on but the aftermarket HU puts out 12V, to fix that you need a stepdown converter (Metra P/N: AFDI-5V) or a 1.5K transistor as he mentioned in the video. Buying a transistor means you'll have to do the soldering yourself, the choice is yours
Hope this helps .

The only difference is the price. Click on the links. With a little of patience, you might find them somewhere else cheaper than eBay but I doubt it. Good Luck ! You can go this route PAC Audio IS31 + IS335 Kit Or You can get the actual OEM Part 7L3Z-15042A82-AA and just plug and play

Project_Red,
Here you go, read this thread .... http://www.f150online.com/forums/hea...-help-pic.html
I believe thats exactly what you were asking about.
The part number for the harness you need to buy is WPT-465 (Ford P/N: 3U2Z-14S411-PRA) ... it will connect to the back of the Aux input Jack.
But now you'll need to splice the 4 wires from WPT-465 harness into the 16-pin connector in the back of your factor radio to make it work. See the diagram below.

I've been looking into about calling junkyards and getting the whole setup from a f150 that would be factory... I want my truck to be factory on the inside I don't like a sloppy truck... If I didn't want factory I would've bought a aftermarket CD player.... But for sure man I'll take Befor an after pictures of u still would want them.

Bluetooth and MP3 via the AUX port on OEM radio
There is now an APPS2Car adapter that also provides Bluetooth and MP3 via the AUX port on the OEM Radio. Have ordered from Amazon.
