Anyone used FORScan for flat signal to DSP?

Just a question, regarding the system I'm planning for my setup. Products I have, are:
Hertz HCP1D mono amp
12" Pioneer shallow mount sub (TS-SW3002S4)
Rockford Fosgate Punch P1T-S tweeters
Pioneer GM-A6704 4-channel amp
Audio Control LCQ1
So the question is, I was planning on tapping into the stock harness for the Sony amp (mine is non-Sony) and turning it on through Forscan, but since the LCQ1 has a channel for subs, I was thinking I wouldn't need to tap into that? I know you really like the Dayton 408, but I already have the LCQ1 on order. Thanks.

The lcq1 is not a dsp. It is a line output converter. To get proper signal from your headunit, you need the for-11ck harness. The front left and right are full frequency. You use the front left and right for the input signal for all your speakers, sub included. Tapping the sub output at the rear of the truck and taping behind the dash is just asking for trouble. That's why the Dayton 408 is such an incredible tool. You take front left and right out of your headunit using the for-11ck harness. Run those two channels high-level into the Dayton. Now you have complete control over every single aspect of every single speaker in your truck. You are running a sub amp and 4 channel amp. You are going to want the adjustability of a true dsp. The lcq1 provides nothing of value to your system.
If I was you, I would cancel the lcq1 for the Dayton.
Also, you mentioned tweeters but where are your midbass for the front doors?

So you are non-Sony right?

It's difficult to cancel the order, since it's already with UPS en route...

Edit: Nevermind, I found one. $200 CAD. Half the price of the Audio Control, lol. I'll wait until my order shows up, & can return it, before ordering the Dayton.

Ok, so looking at the manual for the Dayton, I would run the speaker outputs to the high level inputs, and then RCA outputs would be ch1 & 2 for front, 3 & 4 for rear, then ch 5 & 6 for the sub? Is that correct?

U won't be disappointed with that Dayton. I just hooked everything up this weekend and damn my system sounds good. I haven't even tuned it yet just set crossover and time alignment and it's already the best system I've ever had.
