Couldnt give much info on Sync, i only have the standard CD player. I had Best Buy install the Sub and Amp and they used something to tie into the back of the head unit. However I did just buy a Kenwood DNX6990HD Nav unit and SiriusXM, wont be here till Monday. I am hoping I have to many issues at getting it set up. Since I dont have Sync or the steering wheel controls i think I should be good to go.

Most likely they used a "line out converter" : http://www.ehow.com/how_5076523_conn...converter.html

I have a 12" MTX Thunderform with an amp in the custom box under the drivers side rear seat in my 07 Screw, fits just fine, but it wasn't cheap.
