I like that layout of that box that you linked to, just not how it is a downfire box.

I would make ont like that, just make the sub point up.

I have never actually built a sub box by my self, but I plan to once I get some time to work on my truck a bit, lol

You don't really need the truck to do it. Just get your measurements and make the box. The wiring is the easiest part and is actually fun once you get started. Wiring shouldn't take more than a few hours.

BS, ever tried wiring a system with out preouts on the headunit?

its a pain in the butt, and I still dont have it figured out.
