Also, what size wire did you pull?
ran 4ga from the battery as I am only using one 700/5 JL amp. If I upgrade, I will run 0ga at that time.

Here is my modest effort. Basically just an "L" made out of .200" ABS. I found a vacuum forming company local to me and scored a 4'x4' sheet for $10.

The "foot" on the bottom is clamped down by a piece of 3" aluminum strip that I had kicking around from another project. The strip has 2 holes in it that go over top of the two center seat bottom mounting studs. Once the seat is bolted down it's not going anywhere.

I haven't fixed the top of the rack yet but plan on just using a couple of screws. They'll go into the back wall stiffening rib, that way there'll be no holes to the outside world.

The other thing I did to get the rack to sit tight against the back wall was to flatten out the cover/insulation material. Interior pieces like this are heat molded into 3D shapes to make them more rigid and to clear items located behind them. So what I did was to soak it with water and hit it with a steam iron. It's not prefectly flat but good enough.

Good info on how these rear wall covers are made! I was contemplating on how to get the large box smoother down without cutting it out. I may still have to cut an “X” through it across the corners, flatten it and then sew the seams together to get it to lay as flat as possible.

thanks!

Looks good, I have the same sub, I ended up putting my under the rear seat instead. I still wanted the ability to raise both seats up.
