I installed the Alpine power pack in my 2015 xlt today. For the power source I connected the power line from the parrot harness to the amp. My question is since this is a constant power line, is the amp on at all times? Or does the amp turn on/off with the stereo. I did not hook up the remote on/off to the fuse box because I was under the impression that I did not need to with this amp due to the auto sensing feature. But now I'm starting to second guess myself. I don't want to kill the battery due to the amp never turning off.

The amp will turn on when locking unlocking the doors, but go off after a minute. Or come on when you start the truck, as the alpine has auto sensing hi level inputs. So no need for a trigger wire!
