Default Amp Power Wire @ Battery Terminal Install (?)

Hi guys,

The stock positive battery terminal on the 2012 F150 is an interesting piece, and am unsure which post I could/should connect my 4ga (fused) power wire to. The picture attached is the best I could quickly find online.

Am I okay to simply stack my cable's ring terminal on top of one of these two non-fused stock ring terminals and re-lug on top? Or do I have to do something standalone?

Thanks!

I used the lug nearest your index finger. Washer, terminal, washer, nut.

Outstanding, thank you! I had a feeling that was the best bet, I just wasn't sure if it was problematic to "stack" like that. Reading around on the web, it doesn't seem like it's a problem, especially if it's only 2 ring terminals stacked.

This will save a lot of time and effort - thanks!

@Inspector656 - would you mind also sharing where you mounted your fuse within the engine bay? I was thinking of using self-tapping screws to mount to a section of the passenger side chassis near the battery location.

I used industrial strength Velcro to mount it on the inner fender next to the fuse box.
