Amp keeps goin into protection mode?

Did you accidently put the crossover on? sounds like you have the cross over on Low pass, either on the amp or the headunit.

You've got that backwards, 8 ohms would be fine (just less power) I think he's got two 4 ohm SVCs wired to a 2 ohm load, the amp is probably only rated for 4 ohms bridged (I'm guessing he's got the ZX200.2) and is going into protection due to too low a load. The best thing he can do is run one channel to each sub and get 140W RMS total out of it.

I'd recommend selling the amp and buying one better suited to this purpose.

You are correct.. .I got it backwards. I always mix up ohms vs draw.

Not the same problem sir. What u are experiencing is most likely voltage drop to below 10v Wich will cut the amps off. And if u do not fix this problem the ps WILL blow.
Solution is u need another battery a good voltage gauge and possibly a HO alternator
If this is not the problem u may have shorts in your speaker wire...

I have an ho altoonater The power to the amp doesent turn off just the speakers kick off randomley. An the amp stays on and there is no voltage drop the cap saids 14.3 v

Possibly but id say it's a short in the wires or the impedance is wrong

Is the amp hot? My guess is its going into heat protection

Yea I thought I wrote in my last post to feel it when it cuts off because sometimes a short will get it hot too

It's not from heat. The red thing under the kicker logo dims
