Let the Fun Begin
I am also having the same problem. But it amp doesent go in protection mode it just kills the vocals but the bass is still there The amp I have is a kicker 850.4 and a phonix gold 1200.1 rsd amp with a 15" kicker L7 with a Cap and running 0 awg wire wire a 1 din Pionner deck can't remember the model
Did you accidently put the crossover on? sounds like you have the cross over on Low pass, either on the amp or the headunit.

I'd recommend selling the amp and buying one better suited to this purpose.

First Tiger of G.R.O.S.S.
You've got that backwards, 8 ohms would be fine (just less power) I think he's got two 4 ohm SVCs wired to a 2 ohm load, the amp is probably only rated for 4 ohms bridged (I'm guessing he's got the ZX200.2) and is going into protection due to too low a load. The best thing he can do is run one channel to each sub and get 140W RMS total out of it.
I'd recommend selling the amp and buying one better suited to this purpose.

Solution is u need another battery a good voltage gauge and possibly a HO alternator
If this is not the problem u may have shorts in your speaker wire...
