Smile Amp/deck/sub

Newbie F150 owner(first truck ever):

I just got an 04 Supercrew FX4. I want to pull my subs and amp out of my old car (03 explorer). I know the box I had in the explorer won't fit in the truck, so I'm obviously needing a new box. I have 2 Kicker 03C104 10"s and a Rockford Fosgate Punch 401S amp. I know the amp can push the subs, had this setup in 2 previous cars.

My questions are:

1. If I put the subs under the rear seat in a box, does the box have to go all the way across under the seats? I ask b/c the jack/tools are under the rear right seat and it would be nice to not have to find a place to move those.
2. This RF amp I have does put out some heat(as most do). I have slight concerns about heat if I were to place it behind the rear seat mounted to the wall. first, would this amp fit there? Also, would there be any concern regarding heat output and fire harzard?
3. Finally, just for reference, I'm looking at getting the Pioneer FH-X700BT for my deck. I know it will fit (being a double DIN). Anyone have experience w/this deck? I can install the deck myself, done that before. My dad helped me do the amp/subs on the explorer and I'm sure can help with the amps/sub on the truck.

Any suggestions and input are welcome. Thanks everyone :P

You will only use one sub if you use a half seat box which may be enough for you. It was for me. Others mount their amps behind the seat without a heat issue. I would cut away any insulation and mount to a board first.
