I think the JL is more SPL than SQ. But I dont think the SQ is all that bad. Just my 2 cents.

i love my cvr's they pound hard as hell but dont get distorted very easily, i have pushed these things very hard and they wont quit, they are great subs

The JL W7 was designed as an SQ sub. It just happens to have good SPL as an added bonus.

RacinJason, I didn't know you bought an F150. I haven't seen you around much on ExplorerX.

I got offered way to much for my X. Had to take it. Just got the 150 about a week or two ago. I have had issues with family and been busy is why I have not been on ExplorerX, that and when I have been on there I have just been lurking. Felt bad as I have been member all that time and get X of the month and that is when the X sells. LOL

I am thinking the CVR is what I am looking at. I already have 2 Solo's and thinking of building a box for them.
