I always promote name brand but this one has my curiosity. 8" screen, etc. I don't even have a F150 anymore but am curious about the price and reviews.

Here is a link to the announcement. Looks like F150s are new this year. They have previously made one for GM, Honda etc. Made by Audiovox.

It looks pretty good except for the Nav. It is the same one as the Rosen and I found it very awkward and slow to use.
My Rosen is out now. The truck is much nicer without it.

I was able to talk to them today as well - they obviously know their stuff! Very informaive and very helpful. SOunds like this is a different unit completely from the Rosen though - I asked about the mapping and found out that it is Primo, but the processor was much faster than the Rosen, so it may not be exactly what the Rosen is. The videos sure make it look pretty quick and pretty easy to use. It was an 8" screen as well.

Has anyone seen video of the Rosen in action like they posted of this Advent unit? The only one I saw showed it on display and not really running. It woould be nice to compare.

Definately a little expensive but very nice! Congrats wishiwas!

Not an 08 system though, similar but when I saw the screen I knew it was a later model of some type. My 08 GT500 has nav but not the hard drive version, no phone and totally different interface. So a little searching turned up the site below with an explaination of how it all came about.

Easy one to miss and had me fooled for a minute until I saw the weather view and Sirus screen. If not turned on they are almost identical.

These must have just surfaced. Can't believe all the searches I did before getting the Rosen didn't find it.

I still like the look of the Rosen in the dash and as long as it works ok when I install it, all will be good. If not, this one will be next. A bit expensive but hard to argue it would be a bad choice.

Also seriously like the OEM rearview camera they have. Pretty sure that one will be on the truck soon.

Hate forums .. everytime I log on I find something new I want to add
