Default Aftermarket FM/AM/HD radio antenna?

My new 2017 F150 Lariat came with the standard Ford antenna whip mounted to the front passenger fender. Since I have to park my car out in my driveway under trees that sometimes drop sap and leaves I decided to get a Covercraft Noah car cover. I just think having to thread the cover over and off of the antenna every day is not going to be fun in the long run.

Wonder if anyone has switched to an aftermarket antenna? I have the Sony stereo with AM/FM and HD as well as Sirius but I think the hockey puck antenna on my roof in front of the moon roof is for the satellite radio. I figured I would just remove the whip but leave the antenna base in the fender since removing it would leave the hole.

I found this one online, it says it is for AM/FM?HD

I also saw this one that is a power mast antenna if I want to just leave it on the fender

I'd recommend the 6.5" one. I use it on my 2013 and I found no loss in reception overall in Southeastern MA. It's bendy where you don't worry about it breaking, but short enough it shouldn't bother you with a car cover. Just my recommendation

About the only one that doesn't affect your reception drastically

Thanks, that might be the simplest solution.

Yes our 6 3/4" antenna is guaranteed. If you're not happy with it we will give a full refund upon return, no questions asked. No antenna will perform to the level of the 31" factory antenna but amongst the short antenna options available, it will scan in more than most if not all on the market today.
