I'm no professional installer but have hooked up many a systems in my high school and college days. Looks like what the installer did while installing that PAC line level converter was he tied the both positive wires from the line level to the positive on the factory ford wiring. Then tied both negative wires on the PAC to the negative on the ford harness. You can donitbthis way since he is using a sub amp in mono. Single sub, mono amp no need to have a left and right stereo signal.

The picture above now that I have my iPad to zoom in better with my old eyes is wired up properly. Gray wire with black stripe and white wire with black stripe on the PAC to the negative wire on ford harness. Solid gray and solid white wires on the PAC to the positive wire on the ford harness.

Since this is a mono setup there is no problem wiring it like this at all.

Thanks for the help. I was thinking the 2 gray wires should be together and the 2 white wires together.........I see Ford distinguishes plus and minus with a stripe not color. My bad

Dbmachine, what wires would you tap into if you were trying to install 2 subs and 1 amp along with keeping the factory sub and factory amp?

Not the best looking as far as cocealment but hey, I'm not planning on entering any car shows!
Another view of the box
Do you know what each wire was? Like in terms of positive and negative? Looking to tap in those exact wires but for two subs and another amp, wanting to keep sony sub and sony amp.

Yes, I'm really just not sure what wires I need to tap in, based on this thread the guy said its wired fine for a mono setup, I won't be having a mono setup, but I'll be having 2 subs, another amp, along with keeping the factory sony amp and sub in place. Basically trying to do the exact setup as the guy who made the thread but for two subs.

You tap into the same leads as above. Bass is mono/omnidirectional. There is nothing to gain from wiring in stereo.

Thanks, old truck had a aftermarket head unit which made it a touch simpler to install. Thanks for all the help! I'll post back after I get my setup all installed.
