has anyone installed 6x9" speakers in the doors of a 2012 lariat? looking to improve sound quality and a 6x9" would have more bass. I had a 2007 sport trac that I changed out all the speakers but when I was finished it looked like I could have added 6x9" instead of 6x8" because of the gap between the speaker and the door panel to add a 6x8 to 6x9" adapter ring,(about 1/2" thick spacer) or is there enough room between the speaker magnet and window to trim door frame to make it fit?
