Default 4 10s or 2 12s??

im starting to get that itch! nooooo that kind...... im currently listening to 2 10inch solo classics (4 ohm) wired down to 1 ohm. their being pushed by a audioque 1200d. i have the dual box from supercrewsound. but...... i seen this guy make a center console for his 2 10 inch l7s (im sure lots of people have made center consoles) what im trying to ask is should i stick with what i have and buy 2 more 10s plus another amp or should i ditch what i have and buy 2 12s?? much help appreciate, thanks!

4 10's is a much larger cone area with the potential to be louder given speakers amps and ported vs sealed box.

it's called the big 3 upgrade and yea that would be the best thing to do. if you do that you may not have to upgrade your alternator cuz doing the big 3 will lessin the strain on it.

my vote is for 2 12" subs. especially if you are getting the L7's that's all you need. my bud has 2 12" L7's in his chevy with an extra battery in the back on a 2000 watt amp, and they slam. I hear him comin down the street an can deff tell its him. everything rattles obnoxiously in his truck an shakes

Stay far away from the square kickers if you care at all about sound quality. Some of the worst sounding drivers on the market. Horrific distortion performance. Unless you just want attention like those silly high schoolers that drive around alone by themselves with huge bass thinking its cool when they actually just look like complete tools.

4 10's= more air movement, highs that will close your throat off lol, and decent lows.

2 12's= lows that will make your heart stop

I would personally do two 12's, audiopipes, power acoustik *****, sundowns, or FI's.

Quick Reply: 4 10s or 2 12s??
