2019 f150 harness question

I just bough the plug and play harness from Amazon (for-11) and I thought I had it figured out but I think I made a mistake. Which side goes to the input for the amp and which side come back from the amp ? Dumb question I know but I want to make sure I have it correct

the end in your hand goes into the silver box you have pulled out, the larger end plugs into the stock connector that you removed from the silver box

I know that. Which end goes to the aftermarket amp?

Niether. You T off that harness using speed wire and run the signal from the harness to the input of your amp. Then you run the signal out of your amp back into the factory wiring of the truck. Your harness must be split so there is an output side and input side.

Once the harness is cut....the one in your hand goes to amp, the other is output from amp to your OEM speaker wires using speed wire for the run.

He will be fine......

The male end is signal and goes to the amp inputs. The female is the speaker return and goes back to the stock harness. PM me if you need help with this. I don't mind at all. I just hope you didn't get the wiring messed up as the Dayton has reversed wire colors that are way different than the harness. So if you matched up colors on the Dayton you screwed it up. If you followed the wire colors from the Dayton pinout to match the harness to USA standards you'll be fine. If you are still lost you can ship me the harness to work on, just cover the labor/material/shipping costs.

i did split the harness and bough speed wire and mad the harness myself. Hush answered my question, the male needs to feed the input for my signal processor (LC6i). i will double check and report back in a day or two. thanks for the replies.

You don't need to use an LOC such as the LC6i if your amp accepts high level inputs. Which amp do you have?
