Neither are Bowers and Wilkins, because Bowers and Wilkins is a TOTALLY different company that has nothing to do with B&O (which is Bang & Olufsen).

So no one has upgrade just the drivers and spent some money on sound deadening?

This would have to the the easiest least technical route to getting good sound no?

Or am i missing something?

Yeah, you can absolutely do that and you will see a noticeable change in how the overall system sounds. You might see an increase in volume, maybe 1 dB, and your music will sound more impactful to an extent. But, Power is power and the stock amp only has so much in it drive better speakers. Efficiency and speaker motor design only get you so far. What you will hear is a change in the dynamics of the system. It might sound a little lower, a little brighter, a little fuller. I personally think it would be a welcomed change if you are starting from scratch but the thing is, you are opening a can of worms. 99.9 percent of people that start with the speakers, move on to an amp, dsp, better speakers, subs, better amps, etc once they realize how easy and fun it can be!
