Would also like more info on this, have an ms-8 and am trying to figure out the best install method.
Sounds like speaker lever after the amp will be 100%. Does anyone make a plug with pigtails so I dont have to cut?

I have been running this setup for about 6 months and it still works great. I get full-range line level from the tweeter outputs (not crossed over) and send only that signal to a DSR1. There is no pre-set EQ and the tuning was very straightforward. I completely removed the B&O amp since it is no longer necessary.
The Sync voice and phone calls, etc, just come through at the same volume as the music. It's not a big deal, I can easily just set the volume where I want it. I don't get the numeric volume display on the screen, but I can live without that. There are really no drawbacks.
Someone should just try matching my Forscan settings and see what happens

How can you get full range from the tweeters? They are either crossed over at the HU or by a Cap up from the door speaker.
