2016 stereo build
Hoping for a little help...... I have a 2016 XLT with a 4 1/2 screen, last year I did a little upgrade I installed a LC7i with a JL XD700/5 amp I also changed out all the speakers with JL and a JL sub. It sounds great but I just can’t stand the the screen so I just bought the pioneer AVH-W4400nex and the FTR1 dash kit with datalink maestro Rr. I am getting all my pieces together to start this install and my big question is can I keep the LC7i in play instead of running new RCA cables fron the head unit out to the back where the amp is? Obviously I don’t won’t to mess up the sound quality BUT it will be a real pain in the butt to run the new RCA cables.... your thoughts and knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

Using the LC7i instead of the HU RCA pre-outs will cause more issues than it is worth. Run the RCA cables.
The cables are less than $30 and these are good rca cables.

What he said ^^^^ Run the new head unit directly to the amp. Heck sell that LC7i and buy a DSP to use instead.
