Try something different. #1 they have larger midbass than stock so you probably would have to trim the door opening. Not that big of deal but there are many brands just as good, less money and will fit perfect. And not including crossovers?? What is your budget? Start from there..

Im trying not to set a budget. I'm trying to make the best purchase for my money. I'm so uneducated in audio that it's hard for me to decide where to begin. I'm just reading forums and using all the suggestions I can. For example, I've been told to stay away from metal cones. If I find a great deal on speakers with no.crossovers I'll likely bite the bullet and get a DSP. I'm also considering what will go well with the pdx-5.

Historically Ford has used 6x8 speakers in the doors but I'm reading around and seeing 6x9 in the front and 6.5 in the rear for 2015. I assume this is the same for 2016. That being said, is there a way to verify what driver I can fit without hacking anything up. I've found deals on drivers like the
http://store.12velectronics.com/products/Legatia-L8SE-Speaker-Set.html and the http://store.12velectronics.com/legatia-l6v2-speaker-set/ but not sure how either would fit up front
