Question 2016 SCREW Dash Center Speaker

Does the dash center speaker have any other roles other than music ie. Navigation, telephone, back-up sensor tone?

Not sure about navigation but phone and backup sensors had zero impact when I removed mine.

From what I've read the tweeters and front door speakers share the same signal and are split someplace after the HU.

That would be just as good as now starting to settle in on a good but budget upgrade.
Want to switch out doors to aftermarket components and i would want to use the factory pillar location.
Thanks
if any one else has any additional info on tweeter vs other system siganls would be great.
may even wire in and test before full install.
thanks

Tweeters and center tie in with front doors all the same signal. They have no special function

You can disconnect the center but the tweeters do serve a function

My truck didn't come with one but for most installs we do, we remove them.
