2016 Lariat Kicker VSS Issues
I previously owned a 13' F-150 supercrew FX4 with the Sony system in it. I opted out of getting the Sony upgrade in my 16' F-150 after reading the great reviews about the Kicker VSS system. After having it installed I was very disappointed in the sound quality from the sub. Seemed to "bottom" out when playing certain music no matter how I set the head unit. Also when i open my door to my truck i hear a "pop" sound coming from the box. It's almost like if you were to lightly tap the box with a hard object. Anyone have similar issues with this happening?

The thump is normal. Being its a 8" sub with a 100w amp, kinda sucks too.
