I've finally got almost everything together to start my speaker upgrade. Thanks to all of the information i've read here, I think I have everything I need. I'll take pictures and try to do a step by step with this project for everyone, but I may have questions along the way. What I have so far:

Focal Access 165as 6.5" components for front doors
Focal Access 165ac 6.5" coaxials for rear doors
Metra 82-5607 speaker adaptors for front doors
Kenwood KAC-8406 4 channel amp
KnuKonceptz 4ga amp install kit
Monoprice 18ga x 100' spool of 4 conductor wire
AudioControl LC7i line out converter

Still waiting on FOR11-CK harness from backorder

I also have an older 10" punch subwoofer and Phoenix amp that i have from a previous car that I may put in if bass is lacking. How does everyone feel about Dynamat? Is it worth the cost? I know I've already spent a ton, so whats the difference at this point, but does it genuinely make a difference?

yes it makes a huge difference. don't go crazy with it though, you only need ~25% coverage on the large flat panel areas, such as the inside of the outside skin of the doors. "sealing" your doors will be a big improvement too - covering up the holes on the inside of the door behind the door panel, sort of making the entire door into an enclosure. it will never truly be sealed though as there are drain holes in the bottom to allow water to exit.

Can anyone who ran speedwire from the back of the head unit through the door channel to behind the back seat tell me approximately how many feet of wire you actually used? I'm thinking of mounting the crossover for the A-pillar tweeters on the board behind the back seat and want to make sure i have enough wire to do it. Also, does it matter how long the run is after the crossover? I don't really want to put them in the door.

I ran the Stinger speedwire from head unit down the passenger side to behind the middle of the rear seat and it was just over or at 17'

Wow! 17' of wire to make if from the back of the head unit to behind the seat is a lot longer than i was expecting! Thanks for the info!

I'll second this. It does make a huge difference. Well worth the money.
