Its one or two simple steps all you need is forscan and the OBD adapter... and get the correct wires to pull the signal soldering 4 RCA´s and you are all set.

I am really satisfied with the sound quality and I happen to be very very critical of this in a system.

Normally when you add processor and amps from a factory HU or Amp it never works right, theres just too much processing to deal with, taking a high signal and getting it low and high again for me its useless.

So guys look into this, here is a link to get you started.

Could be the amp is not powering up in time. If the amp isn't powered up then all you're getting is the chimes thru the IPC. That's just a guess based on my studying of the way the chimes work.

I was wondering how to keep my backup chimes as they come thru the rear speakers only and was going to just run front and rear stock speaker wires to my processor so they'd still come thru but JL recommends as few inputs as possible so it'll be able to deliver a clean output signal easier. What I decided was to keep the rear speakers hooked up to the stock radio and just use the front speaker outputs to go to the processor. I'm not running rear speakers in this install so I'll set the fader all the way to the front. That will keep all the back up chimes coming thru the rear speakers as usual but no other audio. Most people run rear speakers so this wouldn't be an option for them but if you're just going to run fronts only like a lot of SQ guys prefer (like me) then this is a good way to do it.
