Looking to upgrade the stock Sony tweeter to get some better high's. Think I will probably go with the JL C2 unless any other recommendations for great sound.

Do I even use the crossover with new tweeters since it's already crossed directly from the AMP and I'm not removing any factory crossover?

I went with the JBL GTO19T. Replaced my stock Sony speakers with these. Sound so much better. I left the JBL crossover connected. Thought what can it hurt.

I'm looking to do the same thing in my 2017 Platinum. Lackluster sound. Could you easily hear a difference?

Sound is subjective but to me I definitely heard a difference. Much cleaner highs. Amazon has them at a very decent price. Much cheaper than others. I had to enlarge the hole in the apillar a little then used silicone adhesive to attach them.
