2015+ Sony Sub Replacement
Has anyone swapped out the sub in the 2015+ with the OEM Sony sound system without adding an additional amp, etc? Just curious if it would sound any better upgrading the sub to something like a Rockford Fosgate P3SD2-8 or similar shallow-mount 8" sub, and also if it would fit without much modification. I just want to add a little more punch until I can convince the wife to give me the green light for a complete build

The stock sony amp puts out less than 100w to the sub. No where near enough juice for a aftermarket shallow 8.
Many have built a box, and installed a shallow 10", and new amp...

Yikes, that's terrible. Ok, just gonna have to wait until I have earned up enough brownie points to do a complete build then...That's gonna take alot of flowers and yard work.
