turns out the kit is not what's effecting my AC from blowing through the vents at times..Its an issue with the evap freezing over which other people are having issues with even with oem ac controls... also 2 times now i have had an issue with no power to my AC controls. Had to pull the 7.5amp fuse to reset..dont know what thats about. if that pac unit didn't have that pocket i'd be all over it.

I'm not talented enough..when I get some cash, I'm having my stereo guy make a matching plate to fit into the pocket.. gonna be switches for aux lighting and my bass control **** for the amp

Just wanted to say thanks for all you Guinea pigs out there I just picked up a new Raptor and got the base model so I'm stuck with the 4.2" screen. I'm actually pretty happy with the base audio sound as I think it will sound decent if I install the JL 6.5 Micro Sub and Alpine 500W amp that I just pulled out of my Sierra lease truck a couple weeks ago. I originally just wanted to add a Ipad Air 2 to the dash but that would need to me send my dash panel out to a custom guy and cost $750 plus shipping just to add the slider kit to my existing dash plus $500 for the actual Ipad.

I may just go with the new Pac setup and maybe a Pioneer 4200nex. Mudder Fudder did you ever figure out the rear defrost issue?

No, been busy with other stuff.. a guy at work just ordered the pac kit from ebay today... said he made an offer of 265 and seller accepted.
