I have the exact same sub and am kind of holding off on doing anything with it because I'm not sure what kind of box I want to put it in. Very interested to see how this is going to play out. Looks great so far!

Nice, yeah. I am anxious to hear what it sounds like. I have always owned jl audio subs, so I am praying this will hold up. only time will tell.
I will update some photo's later today.

so I got the cover glued up and rounded the edges. Still have to put a coat or two of fiberglass on the inside of the face(helps seal up all the joints).

Then for the test fit.

it fits without cutting the center bolt, but I am most likely going to trim it down a little.

Space with the seat down. plenty of room

This photo the seat is in the upright position. The seat is touching the front of the sub. The seat does lock, but it's not all the way back.

another photo from above showing how its pushed out a little.

and one last picture showing the difference compared to the other seat in the up position. A little hard to see, but it's only pushed forward about 3/4" from the stock position.

yeah. I like countersunk subs. I'm not a fan of top mounting. kind of why I didn't just buy the pioneer enclosure, even though it would have been much easier on myself.

As for updates. I was able to get the enclosure covered yesterday.

Wow! Dude it looks incredible. If you decide to make some side money and want to build one...I'd be interested.

Thanks, right now I have too much going on to build them, but maybe down the road. I want to see how this sounds before I make that decision.

I was able to get the sub mounted and added a little polyfil.
