Thanks! These JL amps were mounted in my 2012 SuperCrew. Not a huge amount of room, but just enough to fit the amps.

Just got my late Christmas presents. Pioneer amp and two sets of infinity KAPPA 6.5" speakers! Components for the front, coax for the back. I am going to have the boy install it for me with the lines to add a sub later. I will see how it sounds as I don't spend a lot of time in the truck but the factory stereo sucks. I have a 2011 super crew Lariat.

If anyone is looking to use the JL Audio 13TW5v2, I have a box that is almost identical to the OP's I can provide specs for. There may be additional room alter some dimensions to increase the mounting depth, however this box is based entirely around that particular JL sub. Pics and spec's up within the week....

That's under the seat...this thread is dedicated to behind the seat solutions. I didn't want to give up storage room which is why I went with a custom, behind the seat box.

When I go and pick up guns, I don't have room for a under the seat boxes!

Dude. That box is for 2009 to 2014. Not 2015. Plus the topic of this thread is for putting the sub behind the seat. Not under. That's why.

Awesome box man! Wish I could get something like this for my supercab. I went to my local shop to talk about my options after seeing this thread and the first thing they said was can't do behind the seat without a full fiberglass box . I been out of audio for years, but I'm not that stupid. Then, they want $450-500 for a plain under seat box to fit 1 shallow mount 10 or 2 8's and started trying to sell me the most expensive shiz they had amp and component wise lol. Yeah, so I'm not going that route.

jbarron, do you think there's enough room to use a sundown sd-3 back there? Mounting depth shows 4.75" on their site. Thanks
