This has been an AMAZING JOB and an AMAZING EXPERIENCE. after cutting and splicing my wires up i said to my wife, "if this don't work i'm f#cked and f#cked big time" .... so far iv'e tested my 4 speakers using the remote turn on and everything seems to work.
It's the power of the internet for sure as iv'e researched it, picked some brains and slept on this install for a few weeks-. going over every detail!!!
thanks to all that has helped and posted stuff in past threads-

Word of Advice... use painters tape on the edge of the trim pieces next to the radio bezel! They scratch easily...

As for the RCA cables, you're fine with no-name cables. I've used expensive Street Wires cables (before I knew better), KnuKonceptz cables and some shielded, no-name cables i got for an absolute steal from Parts Express. I've done several installs on several cars, all VERY sound quality oriented, and the RCAs were never the weak link. Any noise in the system always came from bad grounding locations or the Head Unit (again, ground issues). I haven't done my install in my 2011 yet, but I'll use the same Parts Express cables (that look just like yours, as far as jacketing goes), or Knu Konceptz cables if mine are too short.
Some people get chubbies over twisted cables, but I haven't heard a difference between them and mine when I did an install for a friend. Both were adequately noiseless. I did read an article that provided pretty good evidence for the electrical basis for twisted cables, but it also said that just twisting two wires doesn't quite do it. There are some good discussions in the home audio world that cover this. The one I read was a proponent of using CAT5 cable for speaker wire after pulling it apart. I built some home theater speakers and gave it a go. Did it lower noise? Who knows. I just did it because I had a lot of extra CAT5, no regular speaker wire and I wanted to add to the project. I do not plan on dealing with it when I do my SQ install in my truck.

Thanks everyone-. truck all back together everything works everything seems ok. what a job... that said i saved around a grand doing the install buying what i wanted at a fraction of the cost. now my only issue is getting all the sound tuned up. between the Alpine, sundown and Precision Power there are a ton of settings-. my gain on my sub is turned up 75% to get a good punding/thump! not sure if thats normal... more research coming. any advice on settings shoot away!!!
ps.... ill go out tonight with my lights on and see how the wattage affects my alt/battery!

Quick tip, you can get an allen wrench and pull that center brushed aluminum piece off of the Sundown Amp and turn it around so it faces up my OCD kicking in.
my bad on the foxbox, got you mixed up. So how is it all sounding? If you ever get the chance to throw a SMD DD-1 distortion detector on it, that would be pretty sweet. Oh, and a SMD CC-1 crossover calibrator to really fine tune how your HPF/LPF from the sub amp and mids amp.

Boom sounds very nice. the 4ch. amp makes m,y speakers come alive. as far as the sundowns i expected more, i think ..... im a HT guy who built his own theater and now runs a pair of these in my LR... they take your breath away with air-...http://www.powersoundaudio.com/colle...roducts/xs30se by NO MEANS am i dissapointed. the subs hit hard but at higher volume then id like. also i have 20+ settings between my amps and the alpine im not even sure where to start.... lol. to be clear this project was 100% worth it.....
as i tweek ill update this thread...
