Default 2014 xlt navigation unit

Ok guys, let me first say I haven't even looked at stereo equipment in years. I have a 2014 XLT with the 4.3 inch display and sync with backup camera. I am looking to upgrade to something with navigation on it but would like to retain all my current sync functions plus my backup camera with its zoom feature. Love the Alpine X009-FD2, but 2300.00 seems kind steep for me. Also like the 4dtech 8 inch Ford conversion, but same issue after you add the nav. Plug and play would be nice. What are some good choices to look at? Keep in mind I'm getting a Lil bit older so big amps aren't necessary. Any suggestions to look at, possibly whole kits or where to buy would be helpful.
Thanks ahead, blueice.

I'm in the same boat as you. I seen the 4dTech kit, but $1900 is pretty steep. I've seen threads of people converting but its alot of work. I seen recently someone one the F150 facebook group bought the Maestro surround and installed a Pioneer AVH1300. it retained all the factory functions, he had the backup camera in the rear view mirror and was able to put it to the double din. I'm contemplating it since I have a bunch of other mods I want to do first. And i'd really only be getting this so I can have navigation which I can do through my phone or a GPS but i'd have to mount it to the window.

I currently have a Kenwood DDX573 in a Maestro F150 kit. I also went from the crappy 4.3" to the 7" screen. The DDX573 has on board Garmin GPS that mimics the Dodge UConnect system which is really user friendly (my wife has a Charger and Dodge did its homework with the UConnect setup). My set up keep all factory presets and cameras and even added displays for tire pressure, HVAC controls, main sensor readings and compass on the Kenwood display. I am able to play my USB (music) and have my phone plugged in at the same time as well as run my factory Kicker Soundgate system AND run auxiliary amp/sub set up (which I will install in a few months [planning a Alpine mono amp and Kicker Comp 12 at 2-ohm]). I am all in my setup for $650 installed with Geek Squad (bought my Maestro kit unused from a forum member on the EcoBoost site and my Kenwood during Cyber Monday).

Best bet is to use the Maestro kit with a good 7" display HU

another thought to keep in mind - look at the features of the headunit you want to use before you buy them. some don't have all the features that people want. for example by NEX8200 with the meastro kit displays the gauges (2 screens of them actually), the temp setting, tpms/battery voltage and backup sensor distances while lesser units do not.

Does the 8200nex or any other unit control the climate control on screen? I haven't seen any videos of it doing this, and I've looked at alot of videos this week,LOL!

Your just a little to late nineball. I just ordered the Alpine X009-FD2 from a dealer to be installed. He gave me a pretty good price considering what I see it selling for online. Crutchfield wants 2300.00 for unit alone and he's selling it for under 2100.00 installed out the door.
