2014 Kicker Soundgate in a 2015 ?

The Kicker harness plugged into the factory CD player. I modified the ground location for the sub box and had to lengthen the power cable to the sub box. As far as mounting the sub, I used Industrial Velcro on the bottom of the box for now. I have not had any extra time to mess with it. It has not moved however. I really did not want to drill holes in the floor to bolt it down.

Also can you explain a little more about what you had to do to the power cable? Was it the one from the battery or a different one?

Do you think something like this could be used to secure the sub to at least the carpet?

The kit beau sells looks like it has all 6x9 speakers. ? I can make my own adapter out of mdf, but is there any way to get the 6x9 to sit in the hole for a 6.5" speaker for the rear doors?
To hold the sub in place, I would try those metal pointy speaker feet they make for floor speakers. They'll "bite" into the carpet.

Just finished installing this system in my 2015. I can confirm it works great and is very easy to do. The factory speakers sound much better with the Kicker amp behind them.

I haven't mounted the sub yet, for now it is just resting there but it hasn't moved. I may bolt it to the lid of the Power Inverter box for a little insurance.
As for mounting the amp, I took a little different route. I stashed the amp behind the glove box. There is a perfectly sized space back there for the amp to snugly slide in. This way I had plenty of slack in my wiring harnesses and didn't have to beat my knuckles up mounting the bracket (which I removed completely). See pics:
Empty space behind the glove box.
Right before I connected the harness and slid the amp the rest of the way back in there. Just be careful, there are a lot of wires back there.
