So in short:
Do you need an LOC? Maybe not.
Do you want an LC2/7i? Maybe.

I just added new door speakers, two 10" subs, two amps and LC6i to my 2014 xlt. I had a local stereo shop do the work but the problem we are having now is that the system stays on all the time even with truck turned completely off. There is still white noise coming out of the door speakers and so the stereo shop is talking about adding a toggle switch in order to turn the system on and off manually. I however, don't want this option and am hoping they can figure it out with the help of audiocontrol. If any of you guys can add any input it would be appreciated and i am not trying to hi-jack knighhaq's thread though.

A switch... Wow... What is this the 80's.... Take it somewhere else that knows what there doing! A simple accessory wire will work fine. Find accessory wire that when key is off is dead, but once key is on it shows power. That will be your remote. (Switch without an actual switch)

Well the did end up adding a switch however, after talking more with the installer it seems to be an issue with the LC6i and newest version of Sync not being able to integrate so well. The system does turn off now when the ignition shuts off however while the ignition is on but radio off I get a lot of white noise coming out of the speakers which is quite annoying. I will be taking it to another audio shop in the near future to have the whole system looked over and figure out the white noise issue.
