Default 2013 XLT Screw Audio Upgrade

Well, after doing my best to sort out the (sometimes contradictory), info that can be found here and elsewhere on the internet, I've decided on the following pieces for my audio upgrade. Please give me your opinions, because even though I've ordered this stuff, if something isn't gonna work I can always send it back.

Here's the list:
- PowerBass XAX-5670FD Amp (should fit with room to spare behind the rear seats).
- PAC AOEM-FRD24 (to get the 4 channel line level outputs)
- Pioneer TS-SW251 10" enclosed sub (fits under rear seat)
- JL Audio C5-570 component speakers for the front/pillar tweets.
- Kenwood eXcelon KFC-X683C 2-ways for the rear.
- Tsunami Amp Wiring Kit

I also picked up some bullet connectors, speaker wire and RCA cables.

I can hardly wait to get it installed and hear the results!

Why not use JL's in the rear also?

I'd love to, except for the cost. The Kenwoods were way cheap, and I figured the rears didn't need to be quite as good as the fronts.

I installed the same sub in my truck about a month ago, powered by an alpine m500 amp, and I must say, for a little sub, it puts out a fair bit of bass! I'm pleased with it.

And the PAC wiring harness made the installation extremely easy.

Glad to hear you like it!
I really like the way it fits under the 40 (of the 60/40) rear seat. I'll still have plenty of room for hauling my dog, and won't have to worry about her putting a paw through the woofer.

Default Kick it up a notch...

If you want to really kick it up (no pun intended) take a look at Kicker speakers. I replaced my JBLs in my boat last year with four 6 1/2" kickers and all I can say is with a good amp, WOW!!! It was amazingthe difference in sound quality and clarity at really high volumes.
