Default 2013 Supercrew subwoofer box

Here are a few pictures of the sub box I built for my Supercrew. I wanted to fit a sub with 5" mounting depth and the seat to sit all the way down. It has about .6 cubic ft. I am going to upholster the box in vinyl to match the seat. 2013 Supercrew subwoofer box-photo419.jpg2013 Supercrew subwoofer box-photo629.jpg 2013 Supercrew subwoofer box-photo50.jpg2013 Supercrew subwoofer box-photo389.jpg2013 Supercrew subwoofer box-photo3.jpg2013 Supercrew subwoofer box-photo177.jpg

Cool! Same here. I just ordered mine on Tuesday and got it yesterday. Sundown is only about 30 miles from me though. I was gonna go sealed but going to build a ported box for the extra output. Going behind my seat. I must say, it's an impressive and well built sub. Got mine from the Sundown yard sale. Was only $89 shipped. Sub is flawless, no nicks, scratches, etc.

Yeah I ran 2 of them in my last truck. They definitely beat. I wanted to put them both in my F150 but I enjoy the under seat storage.

Sub box has been wrapped and looking good. Sounds way better than the pioneer shallow mount I had put in the truck at first. 2013 Supercrew subwoofer box-photo135.jpg

It sounds really good. Did some fine tuning on my JL amp and it brought the sub alive. I have the factory radio's eq set to -3 bass. By doing that it cleaned up a lot of distortion in the factory speakers. Tell you the truth it sounds better in this box than my brother inlaws JL 10W3v3 sub in a custom box I built him.
