i have a 2014 f150 with Sony system
im using a JL fix86.
my understanding is the speakers tapped from that center plug must sense a load or the Sony amp will mute.
so I’m using JL Lsa-4 to correct. Not sure if this is your issue or not, just trying to help
2 channels for front / tweeters. Ill keep the crossover by the amp.
once wires from the amp get back up front, im not sure what wires I will use to hit the factory speakers. (I will be changing out the stock speakers too.)
