Man, I forgot about the TM65's. I almost went with them originally. Need to look at them again. Thanks!

I'm going to give the SB Acoustics a fair shake before I replace them with the TM65s, but those TM65s would be incredible, I'm sure.

Finally got my sub box from SCS. It's the wrong one. They're taking care of it, but I'm none too happy at the moment. Was really hoping to get this install finished this week. Not sure I'll be able to now. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it except wait. lol

Yeah, that's pretty common for them.

They told me they do about 30 boxes a day. That's pretty crazy to me. I suspect this will eat any profits on my order, though.

they did the same thing to me. i ordered a custom box, they sent me the stock form, then sent me the one i ordered. i would imagine they would rather just cut their losses vs paying to have a box shipped back to them.

So they didn't have you send the other box back? I was wondering if they'd have me send this one back. Sometimes with heavy items like this they do, sometimes they don't.

I would recommend the new Stereo Integrity TM65 MKIII

https://stereointegrity.com/product/tm65-6-5-woofer/

It's got a clean frequency response from 63hz-10k. Well over what you need. Not only that, but these mids are midbass monsters. They are extremely capable. A little more expensive than your original drivers but these are sold in pairs and are well worth the increase in cost. Nick, the owner, is a hell of a guy and a great person to call and chat with for both car and home audio.

DH,

Did you you put your SI components in you Got from Nick? I have ran the numbers and I just can’t spend the money on AudioFrog, I would love too, but just can’t, so I have to re-evaluate, so it’s either I think going with Morel Virtus 603 or go with SI three component set up for my front stage. definitely doing the MkV’s that’s decided, and probably The Morel Tempos for rear fills and reverse sensors.

But wouldn’t mind hearing your review of the SI Tweeter and Mids and see how they compared to your experience with Morel Virtus 3ways.

If you are having pillars built, go with the SI m25 and M3. If you aren't, go with the Virtus 603. I would say the SI speakers are more on par with AudioFrog performance but the problem with the SI speakers is that they are deep. You will need some mounting depth which will require custom pillars. You more than likely will not be able to fit m25 tweeters in the stock pillars, they aren't deep enough.

That being said, I am still a Morel believer and they will always be my go-to brand for quality, performance, and price.
