Default 2011 SuperCab Stereo Question

Anyone out there have advice on what the best aftermarket sub/amp combo would be for a supercab? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I currently run a kicker zx 300.1 amp with a single 10" kicker comp sub and it sounds great. Will work well in your scab!

Are there any good websites that sell sub boxes just for supercabs? How do you go about wiring a setup like that? Amp location? Aahhh

The cabinet of Fox takes up the whole back under the seat... a nice cabinet, but too big if you just want a middle-of-the-road solution, IMO.... the MTX Thunderform is a single 10", takes up half the back seat instead, and gives you a full cubic foot of air for whatever 10" you get.

I'm personally looking at the Alpine Type S 10" sub... has good frequency response and good power range, plus it is shallow enough to fit into the sub box. You can get the box with a sub on ebay for $239, you can get a box with an amp in it too for not much more than that, but the integrated amp is crappy, I'd recommend an aftermarket instead. I have an Alpine 350W 2ch I'm going to bridge and use. You don't need as big an amp as that to get good quality sound through it, 200W is enough for a good middle-of-the-road system, IMO

Fox also has a single 10 box that takes up half the seat.

All great info guys thanks again. Was worried about how the box would fit, was aiming to still be able to use the back seats. Cheers!

nice! can you get me a link? I was looking for one. They generally have better quality boxes so I certainly wouldn't mind looking that direction.

EDIT:
I found it:
Code:
F150-110-04 THIS ENCLOSURE FITS 2004-2008 FORD SUPER CAB AND SUPER CREW TRUCKS. IT WILL ALSO FIT THE 09-10 SUPER CAB ONLY SINGLE 10" SEALED DOWNFIRE.
12" IS NOT AVAILABLE.
FITS ON DRIVER SIDE OF SEAT BRACE.
THE JACK CAN BE LEFT IN PLACE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OR A AMP CAN BE MOUNTED THERE. IN THE 09-10 SUPER CAB THE JACK IS MOUNTED ON THE DRIVER SIDE AND MUST BE RELOCATED.
INTERNAL AIR VOLUME: .8 TOTAL SUB SIZE: 10" HOLE SIZE: 9.125" MOUNTING DEPTH: 6 1/8" WITH A 6 INCH DIAMETER MAGNET CONNECTORS: 1 SCREW MOUNTED SPRING TERMINALS FLOOR CLEARANCE: 1.5" DOES NOT FIT THE F-250/350 TRUCKS THIS WILL NOT FIT THE 09-10 SUPER CREW!
The mounting depth is better, on the MTX you only get 5 5/8", the 6 1/8" will let you put a deeper sub, which is a more powerful sub. I'm not sure how I feel about the fact you need to relocate the jack and tools. With the MTX you can leave those in place. That being said, I was planning to put a storage box in that location, which would be seated to the floor by the bolts the jack uses to stay in place.... Though the Fox box is less expensive... like, HALF.

Lots to think about. Thanks for pointing me in that direction

Any recommendations as to where to mount the amp or amps in a supercab? I've heard that behind the rear seats but had concerns about ventilation and overheating them
