Default 2011 SCrew Lariat upgrade

So, this is my first post in any forum ever. I hope I'm not beating a dead horse here. Please excuse the Newbness.

I've installed some very simple systems as a kid. I am knowledgeable when to basic wiring and installing. I have no experience with LOCs.

I am looking to improve my system, not blow my ear drums out or **** off the guy driving next to me.

I have a 2011 supercrew Lariat, 6 disk changer, no Sony, no Nav.

I want to keep my stock Head Unit, use an LOC and power 4 door speakers and a sub. I'm cool with putting a couple of tweeters up, but other than that i would like to keep the system looking as stock as possible.

Here are my questions. I have a ton. I'm sure the discussion will spark a few more questions.

Is my 6disc HU different than the Sony HU?

Where is the Amp located in the Sony system? Is there where people have been mounting their amps?

Where should I mount the amp and LOC?

Is there any space under my center console that is useable? is it easily accessible?

If I run the 4 speaker outs to a LOC, Can I get a output that is sub specific? Will I need an EQ of some sort? LOCs are foreign to me.

Is my best option running a 4 channel amp with 2 channels to the door speakers ran in parallel, and two channels bridged to a sub? Thoughts and opinions please.

Has anybody here put in a component system? Is the tweeter install tough? Suggestions please.

Lastly, the Sub. Where can I put it to keep my awesome huge back seat storage the way it is. Has anybody gotten crafty with fiberglass and made a sub enclosure almost invisible?

If there are any installers near Las Vegas NV, email me. We'll talk business.

Thanks for your thoughts and ideas in advance. Oh, and thanks for taking the time to read my long winded post.

Peace, love and F-150s,
Rick

Ok, so I posted prematurely. I just saw a video that showed the sony sub under the back passenger seat, i'm guessing it's powered. That answers a lot. Ideas still welcome and encouraged =) Thanks!
