2011 FX2 upgraded system
I went ahead and got rid of the stock system. I went with the following equipment.
Head unit: Pioneer P3300BT, with Bluetooth, ipod and pandora.
Front speakers: Rockford Fosgate T1652s 6X5 components
Rear speakers: Rockford Fosgate T1682 6x8 coaxials
Sub: JL Audio 13tw5-3 enclosed in a custom box
4 channel amp: Rockford Fosgate T600-4
Mono Amp: Rockford Fosgate T500-1
Wiring: Kicker and Rockford
Sound Deadening: Dynamat
Install: Cardenal Car Stereo in Glendale AZ
I got to say that I am really impressed by this set up, the sub is crazy for a shallow mount. The rockford components are really great compared to other speakers I ve had. I will try to post pics as soon as I get a chance.

what about sync

This sounds like a great setup, could you post some pics. I have an FX2 also and was looking into changing the audio and getting some new head unit but also want to keep the Sync capabilities.

I'm hoping to see some pics too. I'm thinking about a Pioneer navi in my Lariat. I'd like to see how it looks. Did you get the get the sync and steering wheel adapters? How do they work now? If you have the wood grain dash how does the dash kit match? Sorry for all the questions, but inquiring minds want to know.
