Default 2010 FX4 stereo help

I have a 2010 F150 FX4 with sony 700 watt sound system that comes with a subwoofer. I was wondering how I would hook up a aftermarket amp and subwoofer? Would I just hook it up as if the sony sub doesnt exist and just run all new wires from the headunit? or could I use the wires coming to the Subwoofer that came with the truck for an aftermarket amplifier and subwoofer? any feedback would help!

Power is one issue and then do you want to use a hi/lo converter or do you want RCA only?
Power will come from the battery, amp trigger is fuse 38 if I remember correctly, I would use hi/lo converters and come off a speaker to feed audio to the amp, figure out how you want to mount everything. Do you want to keep the 700 watt sony sub? and just add?

you need to tap into the speaker wires after the sony amp.
