I have a 07 lariat with the audiophile. I'm looking to put components in the front, I've read that the stock speakers are on a crossover already? How do I install the crossover that comes with the speakers? Or do I just use the factory crossover?

You need to use the crossovers that came with your new speakers

does the frd-04 100% work?I've done a lot of research and it's mixed reviews. I had the standard radio, installed a pioneer touchscreen DVD unit and RSE quit, called stereo shops and read mixed reviews on whether it would actually work.

I couldn't seem to find the answer to this question, but what OEM radios will fit in an 07 Lariat? Any OEM between 04-08 or just 07-08 ones? TIA!

Is there anywhere to get PIE FRD04-DVD adapter still? or is there an alternative?

I googled the part number and found it on eBay and amazon. I've talked to a handful of people who say it hasn't worked. idk what you need it for but I've been told it doesn't do the factory rse. I think if you just look up the frd-04 you'll find it though.

Yeah, I need it for the factory RSE. I want to get rid of my factory radio because the CD drive doesn't work, and I want to hook my ipod up. But I would prefer to keep my DVD player working.

I'm not 100% I asked the same question only because I've been told by a few people it does not work. I don't wanna buy a $60 adapter that won't work either.

Understandable. I have since figured out that my DVD player is aftermarket so I need to figure out how it is wired and if it communicates with the factory radio at all.

I would think that would be easier. does it play through the speakers? if not I would think its pretty easy to wire it back in
