2001 ext cab double DIN.

I was wondering how much trimming has to be done to fit a double DIN? The installation kit says modification may be needed. My truck is a 2001 Lariat extended cab.

I put a double din in my 01 f150 a while back there is a fair bit of trimming to do. It took me the better part of the day to get it installed
