I'm putting mind under the seat. There's been alot of threads for subs behind the seats, but I didn't want to use a shallow sub. I'm using fox acoustics for a box which should arrive tomorrow. That lets me use a full-size alpine type r 10.

I have all of my equip on order, just waiting for it to come in and install. Also, there is some programming in FORScan that changes the outputs from the head-unit to low-level to allow for direct connection via RCA to the amp (similar to pre-amp RCAs on aftermarket equip)

I did see that and it's a thought.

Even with the low level you'll still need something to connect the RCA to. From what I know there are no RCA outputs on the back of the head unit/wiring harness...

Here's my plan

then just run RCA's back to the amp

I think I need an EQ. I can't tune mine how I want it from the stock head unit. I'm definitely happy with the alpine 10 with 1000 watts goin to it though. Just need to reel in the rest. I'll play with it more on my day off

I just took some RCA cables I had sitting around and cut off 1 end. Soldered to the WPT1212. Not saying it was a better idea, just it was available immediately and free. YMMV
