Default '17 XL Audio upgrade

Planning a simple upgrade in my '17 SCAB XL STX truck with the factory big screen Sync3 system. Will be using mostly Soar equipment with an AudioControl LC7i and Parrot FOR-11CK to handle.the integration. Amp is an RP600.5 5 ch putting 60w to each RPX series coax in the doors and 100w to ea 8" IX series sub in a sealed common chamber enclosure. Box is built, amp mount is built and I have my harness finally assembled. Have a few tricks in order for the doors but I'll get to those soon enough. Her is the box as it sits now...

Nice looking box! Are my eyes deceiving me or are there 3 subs in one pic, and 4 in another?

There are four...the console is hiding most of the fourth one.

Man that box is sick!!!! Can you take more pics of the amp location and the amp rack. Finally how much air space is your box?

Just finished the amp mounting. The box is 1.82ft^3, the subs call for .45ft^3 as before displacement so should be perfect.

I did finally get the amp and LC7i installed. For now it has the bottom line pioneers in the doors and no deadening but even with those this thing jams! Very pleased with the outcome, well worth the extra effort and I just need to tie up some wiring to finish up that part of the project. I put the LC7i in the center console mounted on the side so I can still access for easy adjustment. The subs are doing good even with a little less power than recommended, but I'm more of a Pantera and George Straight fan than Lil Jon. It will play hip hop but starts to fall off below 40hz just because it could use more power. I also changed up the amp mounting so I could also include an inverter that I had laying around.

So sounds like I might be better off getting the 800.1 skar monoamp for the bass and the 75x4 skar amp for the mids.

Really depends on your listening taste. I'll stick with this for quite a while I'd say.

5 channel makes for a super clean compact install but I think in my case I need the extra power and go with two separate amps. Looks like there is plenty of room the way you did the amp rack for me to mount 2 amps
